The price of all products presented on our website are in Canadian dollars (CAD). As cheese is considered an essential good, no tax is applied.
The online shopping of a customer on our website is securised. Our shop conforms to the securised transmission norms SSL, which means any personal information is conveyed with an encryption guaranteeing confidentiality. Consequently, information cannot be intercepted, altered or decoded by a third party.
All transactions performed through our website accept only credit cards via PayPal. The online payment is entirely secured by PayPal. We do not keep any information about transactions concerning the credit card details. This is why the customer has to refill this information at every transaction.
We strive to keep a sufficient quantity of products presented on our website in stock. However, the disponibility of said products is not guaranteed. Fromagerie du Littoral is not to be held responsible for any stock shortage.
If Fromagerie du Littoral is unable to deliver a product ordered on the website, we will communicate rapidly with the customer to inform them.
If the ordered product is out of stock for an undetermined period of time, we will communicate with the customer to offer a replacement product or to refund the unavailable product.
Product pick-up at the store:
It is always possible to collect an order without additional fees directly at the store of Fromagerie du Littoral during opening hours.
Deliveries, minimum and expedition
There is no delivery fee for orders over $25 between Matane and Rimouski. For orders under $25, there will be a fee of $8 (tax included).

For orders outside this area, the fees of the distributor will apply and can vary according to weight and distance. Typically, these costs include initial costs of $12, increasing by $1 per kilo with a limit of $20, according to the weight. Delivery is free for any order exceeding $200. Of course, we do our best to find the best solution for every customer! Do not hesitate to contact us for more information before ordering.
Make sure to write the exact coordinates for the delivery. We are not held responsible for orders sent to the wrong address. Fees could be applied to re-deliver the products to the right place.
Product integrity, reclamations and returns
Our customer's satisfaction is our priority and our products are packed with care, prioritising secure transport and maintaining the cold chain.
Upon the delivery completed, the customer is responsible for the products bought. If you have products damaged before receiving them or their compliance has been reduced, please contact us in the following 48 hours and indicate the problem and an agreement will be established accordingly.
Fromagerie du Littoral will not be responsible for the product integrity following delivery and or the passing of expiration date. If, even with the respect of all optimal conditions for the maintenance of salubrity, the product is not fit for consumption, please contact us and explain the situation, and we will analyse the following steps. Please take note that some cheese can naturally have colors, smells and textures that vary according to the aging process.
Exchange and order cancellation policy
Due to the nature of our products, online orders are neither exchangeable or refundable.
Once the order has been expedited, order annulation is no longer possible.
